Hi!
My name is Robin Keith Elkins, owner of Elk Industries®. I am an inventor,
scientist, engineer, and artist. I am most well known for my invention of the
first patented digital audio recording system (U.S. patent 4,124,773), which
covers voicemail and sound on the internet (2 different industries). This
patent was my first, and has been the subject of licensing agreements with
IBM, DEC, ATT, SONY, Microsoft, America Online, Siemens, and a long list of
other companies. These events have been covered in articles in the Wall
Street Journal and Fortune Magazine (to name a couple). I currently operate
LASER and electronics laboratories in Melbourne, Florida, and engage in
global trade. Most of the work I perform these days is design engineering
consultation or independent inventing, although I also am producing much
artwork. Elk Industries® is a registered trademark for a wide range of
products and services, and serves as a trade name for my works. Elk
